Packed with surprises such as Ernie, a 27-foot talking penguin statue, a gift from the Hollywood crew from the film “Cut Bank”. That movie was filmed right here in Innisfree, Alberta. The summer is just as fun! The Innisfree Fishing Derby in July and Fair Day in August are the main events for the community celebrations. Year-round, there is a public trout fishing pond, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a curling rink, and an ice arena. Come and meet Ernie and cast your line!
