Marwyane is packed with events from spring through winter. Annual events include indoor professional bull riding, a communitywide garage sale and treasure hunt, the rodeo street dance, the fall fair, and the light up Marwayne & Christmas tradeshow.
Each June, the street dance on Centre Street kicks off Lea Park rodeo weekend with hot dogs, hamburgers, live entertainment, vendors, and kids' activities. A 10-minute drive leads to Lea Park. Home to the rodeo, the Raven golf course, and a campground on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Downtown, KatTraks Sweet Shops offers 152 flavors of fudge, saltwater taffy, and Foothills ice cream. Great for people who have a sweet tooth!
