## North East Region

The Northeast region offers backcountry access to Alberta's renowned boreal forest and is ideal for active outdoor adventurers. With numerous sub-trails connecting to the Iron Horse Trail, it provides the perfect opportunity to explore Alberta’s backcountry in a truly authentic way. This section of the trail starts near Cold Lake and features the famous Beaver River Trestle Bridge—an iconic highlight of the trail system.
