# Hairy Hill

Where the Buffalo Roamed

Every July, Hairy Hill comes together for the annual Hairy Hill Rodeo.

. Two action-packed days, including kids' wild pony races, heavy-horse pulls, rodeo dances, a pancake breakfast, sheep riding, and so much more! While you are in town, stop on Main Street and take a photo with the bison statue—one of Alberta’s newest and charming roadside attractions. Lunkers Fishing is home base, offering guided fishing trips on the North Saskatchewan River for jackfish, walleye, and more. Come on down, cheer on the Cowboys, grab a plate to enjoy the pancake breakfast, and make some family memories. Hairy Hill is waiting for your arrival!
