# Hamlet of Egremont

Open Skies, Local History, and Country Roads

Egremont may be small, but it has a quiet charm that makes you slow down, breathe, and take a closer look

With open prairie skies and roads leading into the countryside, this hamlet offers a peaceful view of rural Alberta. Nearby, visitors can discover the Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church and agricultural history that stretches back more than a century. Within minutes, you can visit Smoky Lake’s famous pumpkin patches, explore scenic backroads, or watch the sunset settle over fields.
